Wooden Baby Toys
Our wooden baby toys are made in Germany and the USA, depending on the brand. None of our wooden baby toys are made in China. All of the toys from Selecta and Haba are made in Germany using maple and other non-toxic woods. They're colored with food grade wood stains (not paint!). There's nothing to chip off. Selecta uses a beeswax-based finish and Haba uses a water-based lacquer finish. If you're looking for the purest wooden toy possible, check out the Turner Toys maple rattle at the bottom of the page. It's just wood and nothing but the wood, sanded and polished to a smooth finish.
